Dress lovers like myself will understand how simple packing can be. When you’re heading on holiday somewhere warm, just throw a handful of travel dresses and a couple of pairs of sandals in your suitcase and you’re ready to go!
Travel-friendly dresses to me are loose-fitting, casual or smart casual dresses that are comfortable and easy to wear.
This is my favourite type of travel wardrobe!
I’ve been scouring the shops for the latest and greatest offerings in travel dresses. I’ve found 5 gorgeous dresses that I would love to click BUY NOW immediately. They range from maxi to quirky, stretchy to pretty, print to black.
One of them I have actually already bought and wore recently to the annual Problogger conference. And, although I am currently a little curvier than I would like, I felt confident and stylish.
Breathe new life into your wardrobe with a new travel dress, or fall in love with a pair of these divine travel-friendly shoes.
I want them all! What a shoe wardrobe all 5 would be!!

5 travel dresses to make packing simple
Maxi
This divine maxi dress is perfection in the heat. Loose, long and made of cotton, I have a similarly shaped dress which is my go to when the weather gets hot and sticky. Ideal as a bathers coverup, this is the dress you need if you’re heading anywhere tropical, like Fiji, Bali or Thailand.
And how cute are those sandals? A classic neutral leather top with that awesome two-tone platform. Heaven!

Sporty
You’ll be ready for anything in this outfit. And when you’re travelling with kids you can be sure that you’ll need to be! You can find cheaper versions of this kind of stretchy dress, but this one is excellent quality and the uneven hemline adds a touch of cool.
In a stretchy dress and sneaks you’ll be ready for a day at a theme park, exploring a new town or city, or chasing after the kids at a playground.

Classy
When you’re heading to the shops or even enjoying a cocktail while the kids are in kids club, a versatile black dress is your best friend!
And aren’t the sandals the most perfect cherry red? I have a MAJOR crush on these shoes!

Pretty
The seriously stunning Stacey from Veggie Mama looked divine in white when she presented at Problogger this month and I blame her completely for my new obsession with white cotton frocks.
This light yet sunsafe number will have you ready for a day of holiday exploration when worn with flats, but dressed to impress in these baby blue clogs.

Nordic Fusion sandals
Quirky
This dress gets bonus points for being pear-friendly! It’s more fitted around the bust, with lots of volume hiding those blocks of chocolate I have sitting on my hips. And it completely glosses over a slightly pudgy tummy!
This dress has Melbourne written all over it, but will turn heads in any stylish town. Wear it with a clog-style shoe like the one above, an ankle boot and socks like I did, or choose Birkenstocks for wandering around the local market.
